COLORFUL MUSIC

So I'm the one in the picture and the one am wearing is my adorable "Two Door Cinema Club" official shirt. A month ago I went to one of their concerts here in Mexico. Like a good obsessive-compulsive person of my kind, I went to the concert not knowing their names but knowing perfectly their lyrics to sing along.

During the concert I fell in love with the three of them (specially with Alex since he was taking all the attention with his red hair). But at the moment my favorite member is Sam, he is adorable and the kind of guy I'm interested in, after seeing him at some interviews and their short film "You think you know, You don't know" I knew he was the one that I needed to focus on.

So this is me. I'm currently an obsessed fan who looks for their pictures, watch their videos (not that much lately) and there's no day where I'm not listening their music and stalking their twitter accounts c: I probably lose this soon, it's dying slowly but meanwhile I'm really enjoying my fandom!

PUPPETS AND SHADOWS

“The last shadow puppets” is a British project composed of Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) and Miles Kane (The Rascals). I found them while searching about Alex work because I love him as a musician. I’ve never heard about Miles Kane before but since discovering him I fell in love too (I’m so getting The Rascals album and his new project as a solo). Both singers, musicians and talented. Their chemistry is really high; you can see them understanding each other through their music and that fusion gets into you. Their sound is a mixture between mellow and strong. The uniqueness of this group wraps me up and the strength of their lyrics absorbs me. And they are really good looking.

I WILL NEVER NEVER UNGLUE MY LIPS TOGETHER

It's been a while since I came and wrote something here, so before it passes more time I'll present you the music I've been fancying lately.

Her name is Kate Nash. I'm not sure if you've already heard of her but I must say that her music is really refreshing and inspiring, sometimes is so messy that you totally understand that her thoughts are mixed-up as she said in her song "Mouthwash". I felt identified with her since she reflects in her songs her analytical mind. She is so direct and isn't afraid of the impact of her words, that's why she describes herself as heavy-handed in her song "Mariella". I hate metaphors that's why her music is like a fresh breath of air for my mind, she certainly uses some metaphors but are more understandable for me.

I love that it feels like she is talking to you directly. Her songs are so different that you never get bored, her topics are matter of a girl of our age (she is just one year older than me). Despite the fact that her music's been heavily criticized , I'm a real fan of her. I'd love to go to her small concert at the capital of my country but it's rather difficult for me.

Thank you Last.fm for recommend it to me . <3

SHOPAHOLIC LIFE

Confessions of a Shopaholic
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella

This book was like a breeze of fresh air, I was getting bored of the same kind of books and it was really comfortable to read something like this. I loved how Kinsella managed the topic, it was funny but objective about how a shopaholic lives her life. The only thing I didn't like at all was the end, it was so easy, so simple, her life was fixed just like that and I was like : "That's all?...where's the drama?", no wonder why the movie was completely different.

Rebecca's character was funny and imaginative, she kept digressing in any situation and that reminded me of myself so much , but without all of those weird-movie-extracted excuses. Brandon was a great character, not that important but I loved him <3. Right now I wish I was her~. She has turned into my favorite Book Character.

KOBATO

Ioryogy

I decided to keep feeding my Anime/Manga needs. They were starving since a year ago or such. Anime, Manga and videogames made my current self. They are part of me and can't let them go just like that.

Picture taken at my office. I drew Ioryogy san in my notebook just to distract myself a little. Definitely CLAMP are the only ones that can make me watch anime again. First with Card Captor Sakura and now Kobato. If I give it a thought, they are quite similar, same draw and character. I love them both.
